Drive Clean California
A site by the California Air Resources Board dedicated to zero and near zero emission vehicles. There is a wealth of information including vehicles types, tax incentives, news, and studies.
EV Finder
This is an excellent site dedicated to helping people find electric vehicles. The site features news articles, vehicle options, and much more. My favorite spot is the classified section, where you can place and read ads. Toward the end of the classified section, there are frequently updated links to eBay auctions featuring electric vehicles. The webmaster is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Check it out!
EV Trader
This site used to be a store for electric vehicle parts. The store is gone, but the forums, especially the GEM forum, are very active. The people here are very knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about your electric vehicle.
NEV Accessories
This site sells a wide variety of useful GEM accessories. I purchased their clip-in bed, as well as upgraded side mirrors. The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly, and provides great service. NEV Accessories ships orders quickly. Since they are located in Arizona, orders tend to arrive in Northern California within a few days. I highly recommend NEV Accessories.
NEV Portal
NEV Portal has comprehensive listings of dealers and manufacturers, as well as a large parts and accessories section. Their sister site, Golf Car Portal has similar information with a focus on golf, and golf cart transportation.
Plug In Olympia
Plug In Olympia's mission is to educate businesses in the State of Washington, and encourage them to install outlets for electric vehicles. If you live in Washington, this informational site has lots of links to local resources, as well as places where EV owners can plug in.
Ride-4-Fun
This company sells a variety of upgrades for GEMs including wheels, rims, doors, and motors. Please note that the speed upgrades sold by this site are not street legal in California. I like their unique clear doors, and recently purchased a set for my GEM. Ride-4-Fun has excellent service, and their staff is both friendly and knowledgeable.
Trojan Batteries
Trojan is a leading manufacturer of lead acid batteries used in NEVs. Their technical support section includes a great deal of battery care and maintenance information. Downloadable video clips will also instruct you on the best care practices for your new batteries.

For those with a Ford Th!nk, this online community is for you. Buy and sell parts and vehicles, or discuss the latest tips and tricks.
Yahoo NEV Group
This is another online community dedicated to NEVs. If you register (which is free), you can access a wide variety of helpful and hard-to-find documents related to GEMs and other NEVs. Highly recommended!
